A single split system refers to a refrigerated type of air conditioner consisting of two main operating components, An indoor Unit and Outdoor Unit (Compressor). Refrigeration pipes or copper pipes are used to connect both Units. A Split System is ideal for heating or cooling one area or one room of your house. Types of indoor unit in single split systems
The indoor units come in various types to suit different situations.
Wall Mounted Unit
The most common split system, it is designed to mount on the wall. Its Generally the cheapest option with the easiest installation
Designer Wall Mounted Unit
Designer split system is a wall mount split system with a more premium finish. It is easy to install. It comes in a range of designs and colours which include Black, White, Red, Grey and many more.
Ceiling Cassette Unit
It is Installed in the ceiling. This is mostly used in commercial application such as offices or very large area. It has a good at distribution or air evenly inside an area with minimum air drafts. These units come in two variants. All Way Cassette / 4-Way Cassette for high volume airflow and 2-way cassette / one way cassette for limited spaces.
Under Ceiling Console
It is mostly used for commercial purposes. it has high air flow rate. It is used when the ceiling has no space for ceiling cassette and high air flow is required.
Floor Standing Console
It is used when limited wall space available and heating is a priority.
Bulkhead Unit
It is designed to be installed in concealed plaster spaces, usually with linear slot diffusers or bar grille diffusers and return air grilles installed. This type of split system is ideal for those who want the unit to be unobtrusive. Its used in Hotels, Offices Premium homes and Commercial use.
